Megastar Chiranjeevi visits Superstar Rajinikanth
Even tough actor Rajinikanth’s family have kept his being in Chennai under wraps, two days ago, star-turned-politician Chiranjeevi visited superstar Rajinikanth at his residence to enquire about his health.
He spent around 30 minutes on Wednesday morning with the ailing actor and found the superstar’s health to be satisfactory and that he was recouping faster than expected.
“Despite his 60-plus age, Rajnikanth has responded to the treatment well and the improvement in his health was evident. But he has been advised a couple of months rest,” says a source close the Telugu star.
He claims that Chiranjeevi was upset about speculations about his friend’s health, so he decided to get first hand information and after visiting him, he found all the rumours to be baseless.
The star-politician will return to Hyderabad and start work on his upcoming 24-hournews channel, which is tentatively titled Power News. If everything falls into place, it is expected to be launched on Chiranjeevi’s birthday (August 22).
Kajal Agarwal the hottest star in south Indian Cinema
Kajal Agarwal might now be known as one of the most popular heroines in South Indian cinema. From being a nobody in her blink and miss debut in Hindi film"Kyon...Ho Gaya Na", she has come a long way.
And it is South Indian cinema that gave her an identity in the glam world. Infact, she bagged her big ticket, Bollywood project, " Singham," with Ajay Devgn, only thanks to her popularity down South. But looks like Kajal, in all her B-Town excitement, is keen on leaving her South days behind. Talking to media in Mumbai for the promotion of herfilm "Singham," she was quoted as saying, "I have never considered myself a South Indian actress."
The industry is fuming at her statement. A co-star of Kajal, who also hails from the North and has worked with Kajal more than once, says, "This is insane.We don't get good roles in Hindi films and so we start off our career with South Indian movies. This industry gives us our fame and grooms us and then we bag Hindi films.We shouldn't forget where we began. I still can't believe she could say such a thing."
Many insiders feel that Tollywood producers are to be blamed for encouraging these Mumbai imports and putting up with their tantrums, only for them to turn their backs at the industry, as soon as Bollywood beckons. "These actresses use the South Indiancinema only as stepping stones to Bollywood career," a Tollywood insider says.
Filmmakers who worked with Kajal express their dismay and disbelief at her statement. While many were not willing to go on record against her, a few demand an apology from the actress.
"Two weeks ago she said that she knows the greatness of Hyderbadi biryani. When these stars are in Hyderabad,they say they love this city, pearls and biryani. When they are in Chennai, they say they love Tamil language. It is alright for her to say that she loves Mumbai for the sake of promoting her movie. But it is insane to say she never considered herself to be a South Indian actress. Now that we know her attitudetowards our industry, we have to treat her similarly," says director Sreedhar Reddy.
A few however, still give Kajal the benefit of doubt. "I cast anyone who suits the role without regional feelings. I don't discriminate. Shriya was from Delhi. Kajal is from Mumbai. This is a creative industry and we need to work together. It doesn't matter to me what her feelings about South are as long as she suits the role. It is her perspective," says Sravanti Ravi Kishore, senior producer who worked with Kajal.

A routine romantic tale, the story is about Vikram (vikram) who lives in Hyderabad and he is basically a very chicken hearted guy. His family gets transferred to Rajapalayam in Kerala and this is a small place where ancient customs and traditions are followed. The settlement of issues is usually done by a fight of Kalari, the ancient martial art. Vikram sees Anjali (sree divya) and falls in love with her and soon, she also reciprocates. However, Anjali's aunt harasses her while her 'bava' Rajan Pillai (George) has got a lecherous eye on her. Rajan is also a famous Kalari champion. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

as you know director ravi babu is a talented cinematographer and he had also presented good screenplay of the movie. even though the movie has some minor errors but it does not effect the storyline and the movie performed very well in my feelings about love.
you don't have to be a strong, muscular and wealthy for a person to fall in love. to love u need just love to be expressed and not by showing our wealth and impressing them with tricks and lies. in fact girls nowadays, like this king of persons a lot, they are falling in love by considering the guys wealth first before getting into the relationship. the only reason for them is ‘secure’ , girls would be secure if a guys is able to fulfil a girls needs and the mentality now is getting common until people are demanding for wealthy groom so that he is able to provide his wife with a better life and security all in the name of money…..
and im not saying money is not important, its just a need and love in family should be the always first. its the responsibility of a guy to earn money for the family and its the must. the girls should be responsible for the love in family. this is the nature of the humankind that it is need to be reminded always.

Telugu Wedding Customs
if you wondering how telugu people's marriage is conducted, this would be help you to understand the culture and ceremony of telugu people.
Mangala Snaanam
As a part of Mangala Snaanam custom, the bride and groom are required to take an auspicious bath on the wedding day. The aim is to purify them and make them prepared to perform sacred rites.
Aarti
Oil is applied to the bride and groom at their respective houses. Thereafter, the family members get together to perform Aarti. They pray to Lord to give wisdom to the bride and groom to lead their life happily.
Ganesh And Gowri Puja
Before the wedding ceremony, the groom attends the Ganesh pooja, which is conducted at the mandapam.
Kanyadaan
Kanyadaan is the ceremony in which the girl's family hands over their daughter's responsibility to the groom. During the ceremony, the bride sits in a bamboo basket. Her maternal uncle brings her to the mandapam. Until the completion of the kanyadaan, the bride and the groom are not allowed to look at each other and therefore, they are separated by a curtain that is place between them, as a partition. Thereafter, the bride's parents wash the groom's feet, assuming him as an 'avatar' of God.
Jeelakarra Bellamu & Madhuparkam
The priest recites the shlokas from the Vedas. Thereafter, the couple is asked to smear a paste made from cumin seeds and jaggery on each other's hands. This custom is referred to as Jeelakarra-Bellamu. This ceremony is observed to communicate that the relationship of the married couple is unbreakable and inseparable.
As a part of Madhuparkam ritual, the bride dresses up in white cotton sari with red border. On the other hand, the groom wears white dhoti with red border. White is the color for purity and red is for strength.
Sumangli
Ten married women (sumangalis) accompany the bride. Six out of the ten women hold plates containing a mixture of rice and turmeric powder, while the rest of the four hold small lit lamps in their respective plates. Rice represents abundance, while the lit lamps symbolize light.
Tying of the Mangalsutra
In order to perform the ritual, the partition between the bride and the groom are removed. After removing the partition, the groom ties the two strings of the mangalsutra, each with a golden disc, around the groom's neck. The mangalsutra represents the physical, mental and spiritual union of the couple. In the Telugu wedding, the groom ties three knots of mangalsutra.
Kanya Daan Akshata
In the Kanya Daan Akshata ceremony, the bride and groom exchange garlands. People witnessing this occasion come forward to bless the couple, by sprinkling flower petals and rice coated with turmeric powder.
Saptapadi
As a part of the Saptapadi ritual, the groom and bride walk seven steps together around the fire, while chanting mantras. When the pheras are conducted, the pallu of bride's sari is tied to one end of the groom's dhoti.
Sthaalipaakam
Sthaalipaakam is a ritual wherein the groom adorns the feet of the bride with silver toe rings. In order to ward-off the evil eye, she is asked to wear a string of black beads during the ceremony.

BADRINATH ROCKING THE CINEMAS....
Despite starting off with a mixed talk, Allu Arjun’s Badrinath turned out to be a quite a good opener by collecting huge amounts in the first three days. Producer Allu Arvind arranged a press meet at his office to announce the same. Here are the excerpts -
Badrinath collects 16.5 crores gross in 3 days in India
Geeta Arts latest production Badrinath has collected a gross of 16.5 crores in 3 days in India. It has collected 14.1 crores in AP (Nizam - 5 crores, Ceded - Rs 3.5 crores, Andhra - Rs 5.6 crores), 1.6 crores in Karnataka and 0.75 crores inKerala. The gauging factor for any blockbuster film is the collection of morningshows on Monday. The collections are very strong all over AP today morning. The mixed talk on the day one is generated due to the mismatch between expectations and deliverables. People expected it to be a mythological like Magadheera and it turned out to be a contemporary love story with temple backdrop. I am happy that Telugu movie lovers have accepted the theme and encouraged the movie.
Allu Arjun’s connection with Himalayas
Allu Arjun has an amazing connection with Himalayas. His debut film Gangotri was shot in Himalayas. His other blockbuster Desa Muduru was shot for 25 days in Himalayas. Badrinath film has the backdrop of Himalayas. Instead of making matching sets, we decided to use the infrastructure over there to shoot the film. It’s not possible for everybody to travel to Badrinath which is one of the most famous holy shrine in India. By watching Badrinath, audiences are feeling like they are visiting Badrinath shrine.

Plot
The fantasy adventure film is set in the fictitious teardrop shaped land of Sangarashtra and explores the inseparable bond between man and the myths that remain relevant even today. The story focuses on the journey of a nine year old girl with special healing powers and her quest to save Sangarashtra from the tyranny of an evil Queen, played by Lakshmi Manchu. The girl portrayed by Harshitha is protected by a blind swordsman played by Siddharth who faces great adversity and helps the girl on her epic journey. Shruti Haasan plays a gypsy woman whose destiny is tied into that of the swordsman and plays his love interest.

An Evening With Prime Minister
Telugu Association of Malaysia (TAM) is non profit and non governmental organization representing about 500 000 Telugus in Malaysia. Its objective is to promote and safeguard Telugu culture, language, heritage and take care of social and welfare needs of the community.
Malaysians of all walks of life enjoyed unity, peace and prosperity in this beautiful country. Malaysians of Telugu origin would like to thank the Government for supporting minorities like us to live in harmony without losing one’s culture, language, heritage and identity.
In conjunction with the official landing of Telugu community in Malaya 150 years ago. TAM is organizing Malaysian Telugu unity gathering to show support to 1 Malaysia concept launched by our beloved Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak.
This will be the largest gathering of Telugu community in Malaysia. This mega event will foster closer ties among Malaysian Telugus and indirectly exhibits Telugu culture to our Malaysian brothers and sisters. The event would show unity in diversity in our multi racial and culture society.
At the same time TAM will take this opportunity to honour some outstanding personalities who have contributed for development of Telugu language and culture in Malaysia and abroad. Appealing visuals combined with graphical technicalities has been producer M. Shyam Prasad Reddy’s stronghold since his first inception ‘Ammoru’ which gave way for wonders in Telugu cinema. Following the movie’s smash hit ‘Anji’ came posing an unique plot filled with twists and turns.
The delay in the release of Shyam Prasad’s latest movie ‘Arundhathi’ has no way affected its charm. His passion for cinema made him undergo such a long project that took 3 years to be conceived on celluloid. The makers unveiled the Sankranthi special film on Jan 16th that has made the audience spellbound.
The days and months of burning the mid-night oil and the filmmakers toil could be related on screen. When I come doesn’t matter but how I impress when I arrive does. In the same way, the days we took to finish is not what matters but the quality work bought out does. These could be the words rewinding in Shyam Prasad’s mind and it reflects in the end product. Read below for a concise review on ‘Arundhati’.
Story
The story unfolds with young girl Arundhati (Anushka)’s arrival to her ancestors palace located in the outskirts of Gadwal province. Engaged to her beloved Rahul (Deepak), she is filled with joy about her impending marriage. Arundhati’s grandfather, Bhupathi Raja (Kaikala Satyanarayana) and Chandramma (Manorama), their loyal maid look upon her as the heiress in the lineage next to Jejamma (Anushka), the princess of Gadwal province three generations back.
The time shifts to the past revealing the daring princess Jejamma who fights and slays the evil doer Pashupathi (Sonu Sood). She restores peace in her reign and Pasupathi’s soul prevails around his Samadhi bound by a magical spell. He awaits the time to break free and get his vengeance on the princess.
In the present, a couple on their way to meet Arundhathi with her wedding cards meets with an accident near the haveli (mansion). The lady goes missing and the man possessed by evil spirits breaks open the Samadhi. A Fakeer Anwar (Shayaji Shinde) who dwells around the place senses bad omen and summons Arundhathi to vacate the place for her own safety.
The Good VS Evil fight begins as Pashupathi mistakes Arundhathi for Jejamma and seeks revenge on her.
How the young girl Arundhati fights back the evil spirit and reigns over the evil doer in the present unveils on screen in a twisty, edge-of-the-seat narration filled with spellbinding visualization and astounding graphics.
Performance of Artists
Anushka, who appeared as a glamour doll till date, sheens in this new role that gives her space to perform onscreen. She is seen in a fresh antique look in one of the dual roles as Jejamma. Her performance as Arundhathi is also laudable. Although her work in a few scenes, in the second half is disappointing, her overall performance is appealing.
Sonu Sood the debuted star of 'Super' has improved considerably and his performance in the negative shade as Pashupathi is excellent. Ravi shankar's dubbing for the character brings life to the role on screen. The expressions and gestures of Subhashini who has played Pashupathi’s mother is good.
Kaikala Satyanarayana has returned after a long gap in movies. Ahuthi Prasad, Chalapathi Rao, SivaParvathi, Annapurna, Manorama, Meena, Jayalalitha have all did well in their respected characters. Baby Divya who played Arundhathi in her childhood years has exhibited a notable performance. Shayaji Shinde as the fakeer has made his presence felt in the movie.
Technicians Work
Koti has composed excellent tracks for the movie. Even though he was prominently not heard for sometime, he has made a mark. Especially, his background musical score that stands as the main highlight for the film.
The most important aspect to be taken note of is the special effects. Bringing back the old palace to life (taking the audience to the past glory of the palace); the murders committed by Pashupathi; the climax sequences in the old palace; the scenes depicting the raise of the spirit from the dormant samadhi and creating a havoc are notable. All this was mainly because of Senthil Kumars photography, Ashok's creative work in construction of sets. Surely these are the key elements in the film. Rahul Nambiar's creativity is also good.
The dialogues 'Ammaale…bommaale…' written by Chinthapalli Ramana, has given a caricature for the character of Pashupathi. His dialogues for Arundhathi suit the feel.
MS Reddy, Dr C Narayana Reddy, Ananth Sriram and Veturi's lyrics are nice. The song penned for Jejamma is enjoyable.
Shivshankars choreography in the sequences, while the spirit is being bound with the spell, is exceptionally well. During the drum dance, if the re-recording had been done on a high pitch, it would have been even better in the cinema halls.
Shyam Prasad Reddy’s pure passion for cinema unlike other producers interest in commercialism is evident in ‘Arundhathi’. Based on a heroine-centric subject, he has daringly invested 13 crores to churn out a spectacular entertainer sans compromise, which has re-established Mallemala Entertainments banner value.
Director's Portrayal
The director of cop stories, Kodi Ramakrishna got the name as the maker of graphical extravaganzas with M. Shyam Prasad Reddy’s produced ‘Ammoru’. He was away busy with small time movies and some predicted he might join the list of veteran directors. He did come back with a big budget magnum opus like ‘Arundhathi’ and reiterated his niche in creativity with this mile stone project.
Criticism
Shyam Prasad holds maximum credit for investing the huge amount in a woman oriented subject that didn’t use Anushka’s glam looks but her acting skills. His daring move has passed out with flying colors and has come out in glory. Even though two days late for the festival, ‘Arundhathi’ is the latest sensation and box officer forecasters predict it will rain collections in the coming days.
In a nutshell, ‘Arundhathi’ is Shyam Prasad’s technical wonder that had brilliantly reached the target.
